PROJECTS
Piltown Community Enterprise has achieved notable success through the establishment of the Fiddown Enterprise Centre and the development of the old creamery building in Piltown village. The latter, despite having fallen into disrepair, was recognized for its significance and transformed into an incubation center for new businesses, featuring five well-designed units of varying sizes. This initiative has effectively restored vibrancy and commercial activity to the business hub of Piltown, with the center currently operating at full occupancy.
SOME PCE PROJECTS
FIDDOWN BUSINESS PARK
The Fiddown Enterprise Centre, established by PCE in 1988, has been a successful project that provided a starting point for many thriving businesses. The center was sold to T. Butler Engineering, the largest tenant, as they expanded their successful business. Following the sale of the Fiddown Business Park, PCE acquired the old creamery building in Piltown and constructed the Old Creamery Enterprise Centre.
OLD CREAMERY ENTERPRISE CENTRE
The Business Centre was completed in February 2019 on the site of the derelict creamery buildings, preserving the original chimney stack as a reminder of the village's commercial past. The centre offers 5,580 sq. ft of space, divided into five units of various sizes, to support the development of business start-ups and job creation in the local area
